About Deanna
Deanna Durbin started her career at the age of 14. Deanna went on to make 21 films in the years from 1936-1947 with Universal Studios.
Deanna was also a world class singer and performed many times on radio.
Like so many other artists during WW2, Deanna also entertained the troops at the Hollywood Canteen.
Deanna retired from the film industry in 1947 and moved to France..
The Society
The Deanna Durbin Society was formed by the late Mr Robin Waldron in 1982.
Mrs Christine Rice-Garwood is now life President.

Meetings
Annual General meeting are held at various locations around the UK. The AGM's are a wonderful opportunity for people to get together.
